Joe Hale, Intern

Joe Hale, a counseling intern from eastern North Carolina, is pursuing a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University. He holds a Philosophy degree with a Psychology minor from East Carolina University and brings diverse experience from accounting, legal, medical, and golf industries. Joe uses an existential approach, integrating psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies to help clients build trust, explore life with courage, and achieve lasting change.

Ethan Marsh, Intern

Ethan is a counseling intern earning his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Mount Olive. With a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from UNCW, he takes a person-centered approach, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to support clients’ unique needs. Ethan offers a faith-integrated perspective when desired and is passionate about helping clients navigate emotions, relationships, identity, and everyday challenges.

Anthony Thompson, Intern

Anthony is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern who is passionate about supporting first responders and their families. His career in law enforcement—including almost twenty years as an Oklahoma State Trooper—shaped his commitment to crisis care, peer support, and mental wellness. He draws from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, somatic therapy, and mindfulness to help clients navigate the unique pressures and experiences of high-stress professions.

Rashanda Cooper, Intern

Rashanda Cooper is a Graduate Social Work Intern at Olive Tree Family Practice, offering therapy and supportive services under the supervision of Alison Siepker, LCSW, BCD. She is completing her MSW through Howard University’s Advanced Standing Program and specializes in trauma-informed, family-centered, and culturally responsive care. Rashanda helps individuals and families build resilience, emotional balance, and stronger relationships through strengths-based, evidence-driven support.
