Ethan Marsh, Intern
My name is Ethan and I am happy to be here at Olive Tree Family Counseling to help you, the client. I am ready to explore your presenting issues and see if my abilities within clinical mental health and your needs are a match. I am here to guide you in that potential process in regards to what you feel is the best to tackle in your life today. That is whether it be emotions, relationships, identity exploration, faith-related matters or just general concerns about everyday living. I am here to help.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communication at UNCW and now am earning my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Mount Olive. I like to approach clients from a person-centered perspective in a client-centered counseling approach. Cognitive-Behavioral approaches also help greatly, and we might utilize those as well.
At Olive Tree Family Counseling, we often approach things from an faith-integrated perspective, the kind of perspective which is unique to the client. I like to approach therapy in a Person-Centered way with other kinds of approaches woven in such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. It is about you as the client at the end of the day.
Thank you for welcoming me to Olive Tree Family Counseling in my first semester as an intern and am eager to develop my own identity as a counselor along with helping you with yours. We will strive for the best possible outcome.
