R. David Morrow, Ph.D, LMFT

David is a seasoned Mental Health professional with 32 years of experience. As the CEO and Clinical Director of OTFC, he dedicates approximately 1,000 hours per year to counseling. He holds a Ph.D. in Christian Organizational Leadership, a Master’s of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling and was ordained into the Gospel Ministry in 1997. David is known for his energetic speaking engagements, where he shares valuable insights and teachings on faith-based life skills, preaching, and teaching.

Jan is a dedicated Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a passion for supporting children and families. With experience in various public agencies and private mental health settings, she has a deep understanding of the available services and resources. Jan specializes in working with grief, anxiety, and depression, providing compassionate support to help individuals navigate these challenges. Her expertise and focus on supporting children and families make her a valuable asset in the field of mental health counseling.

Alex Zegers, LCSWA

Alex is a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with a diverse professional background. With experience in Elementary School Teaching, she brings a unique perspective to her work with individuals, families, and children. Alex has worked in various settings, including Department of Child Services, school-based services, home-based services, inpatient and addiction treatment centers, and private practice. Her broad range of experiences has equipped her with valuable skills in supporting individuals and families through challenging situations. With a passion for helping others, Alex strives to provide compassionate and effective care to her clients. Her expertise in multiple areas allows her to address a wide range of needs and provide comprehensive support to those she serves.

Kailey Sykes, LCMHCA

Kailey is a dedicated Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who brings a global perspective to her practice. Through her experience of living and studying in Okinawa, Japan, she has developed a deep appreciation for diversity and the unique qualities of each individual. Being part of the military community has further enriched her understanding of different cultures and backgrounds. Kailey's international exposure has helped her cultivate a non-judgmental and inclusive approach in her work. She believes in celebrating the individuality of each person and creating a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their experiences, emotions, and personal growth. Kailey's multicultural background and her passion for mental health enable her to effectively connect with clients from various walks of life and provide them with compassionate care.

Andie has been a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) for over 2 years, but her experience in the healthcare field goes beyond that. Prior to her role as a counselor, she worked as an administrative assistant for 6 years in a primary care office. She holds bachelor's degrees in both psychology and Religious Studies from East Carolina University. Later, she pursued her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University, where she focused on Christian Studies.

During her career, Andie has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, including individuals of different ages, races, religions, and genders. She has a wealth of experience assisting clients with various diagnoses, including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, adjustment disorders, trauma, and more.

With over 20 years in mental health, Kelly has supported many through their unique journeys. She believes that seeking help takes courage. She strives to explore your story, find balance between support and challenge, and uncover what matters most.

Kelly uses a collaborative and diverse approach, blending Gestalt, CBT, and IFS. Her qualifications include a master's in counseling from Clarks Summit Univ. (2005) and a bachelor's in family & community services from Univ. of Delaware (2000). She specialize in helping adults with anxiety, depression, life changes, boundaries, relationships, and self-care.

Kelly Vickers, LCMHC

Amy is a committed mental health professional with over ten years of experience. Specializing in childhood behavioral issues and family dynamics, she passionately addresses trauma as a core concern in her practice.

Holding a bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology and a master's in Rehabilitation Counseling from West Virginia University, Amy is fully licensed in both West Virginia and North Carolina. She creates safe environments for clients to explore identity, emotions, and relationships, utilizing evidence-based methods. Amy's expertise spans trauma management, behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and relationship counseling. Residing in North Carolina since 2009, Amy is dedicated to her two children and enjoys outdoor activities.

Amy Bowers, LCMHC

Abbey, a compassionate mental health professional with 10 years' experience, holds dual licenses in Clinical Addictions and Clinical Social Work. She earned her master's from UNC Wilmington in 2023. Beyond sobriety, Abbey helps individuals build fulfilling lives, drawing from her own recovery journey. Actively engaged in the local recovery community for over a decade, she navigates addiction's challenges. Abbey supports those with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, trauma, and has a special focus on veterans and their families. Her unique perspective reflects a deep understanding of the recovery path.

Abbey Wears, LCAS, LCSWA

Deb is a seasoned Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a Masters and a doctorate in Humanistic Psychology and a Masters in Rehabilitation and Career Counseling.  She integrates Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Motivational Interviewing therapies.  She specializes in trauma processing using EMDR.  Deb is certified in Bio-Energetic Synchronization Technique and hypnotherapy.  She is also a Reiki Master.  She feels passionate about assisting individuals who are suffering with anxiety, depression, post-partum issues, PTSD, grief, and chronic pain.  Deb recognizes the effort involved in change and feels privileged to help clients with their mental health journeys.

Mark’s own experiences are a testimony to the impact a coach can have on your life. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from East Carolina University in 2011 graduating with Magna Cum Laude distinction at the age of 39. Serving as a Judicial Official for the State of North Carolina for over nine years, including presiding over Small Claims Court for more than eight years, Mark gained valuable insight while working with various populations impacted by the Justice System. His intention is to use that insight to help empower others so they may experience a more fulfilling life. With his understanding of the value of accountability coupled with the necessity of ACTION, he is ready to begin the journey of empowerment with you.

Cheryl Morrow is the chief financial officer and office manager for Olive Tree Family Counseling and wife to Olive Tree's founder, CEO, and clinical director, Rev. David Morrow, Ph.D., LMFT. Her duties include connecting with clients through intake calls, data entry, scheduling, billing, insurance and managing the finances of the business. She is passionate about helping others find peace in their lives, their relationships and their ministries. The services she provides at Olive Tree enables the clinicians to focus on the mental health of their clients and helps make Olive Tree a great place to work.
