Debra A. Midyette, Ph.D., LCMHC, CRC

Dr. Deb joined Olive Tree Family Counseling, PLLC, in January 2024 after working in Greenville, NC, for several years. She holds a Masters and a Doctorate in Humanistic Psychology and a Masters in Rehabilitation and Career Counseling. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. She has worked in Vocational Rehabilitation and in the corporate world. Deb offers an integration of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt, and Motivational Interviewing. She utilizes EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) in the processing of trauma. Dr. Deb is a Reiki Master and is also certified in Bio-Energetic Synchronization Technique. Knowing that change takes effort, she feels privileged to help others in their mental health journeys – especially individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, grief, and pain.
