As a New Bern native, I am proud of my roots and the values instilled in me by my upbringing. Through my journey I have been given the opportunity to travel and study abroad, as well as learn to become a part of the military community, opening my eyes to the beauty of diversity as well as embracing the individuality of each person I come into contact with!
