About Kadison
Kadison Beaver is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate at Olive Tree, working under the direct supervision of R. David Morrow, Ph.D., LMFT. He completed his Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Pentecostal Theological Seminary and holds a bachelor's degree in music business from Lee University. He was also ordained to gospel ministry in June of 2025.
Alongside his clinical work, Kadison serves full-time in vocational ministry as the Director of Worship and Youth Ministries at Gum Swamp Church in Greenville, NC. That combination of counselor and minister isn't incidental to how he works. It shapes his whole approach to the people he sits with.
His Approach
Kadison works with individuals, couples, and families across a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relational conflict, and life transitions. His approach is integrative, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and he is comfortable weaving faith into the therapeutic process for clients who want that. His goal is to help people find holistic healing and build lives that feel authentic, productive, and genuinely at peace.
Outside of work, Kadison is into the outdoors, games, movies, making music, and long conversations over coffee. He lives in Greenville with his wife Shana, their son, and four cats.
