More About Jessica

Jessica’s work is grounded in the belief that every child and family has strengths, even in the middle of difficult seasons. She understands that when a child is struggling—whether emotionally, behaviorally, or socially—it often impacts the entire family. Her goal is to support not just the individual, but the system around them, helping families feel more connected, confident, and equipped. Jessica creates a calm, welcoming space where both children and parents feel at ease from the start. She understands that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and meets each family with empathy, patience, and respect. Sessions are collaborative and practical, offering a balance of emotional support and real-life strategies that can be used right away. Parents can expect to feel supported and understood, while children experience a safe environment where they can express themselves freely and build confidence.

With extensive experience in school settings, Jessica has a unique ability to help families navigate academic challenges, school-related stress, and communication with educators. She helps parents better understand what may be driving their child’s behavior and works alongside them to develop practical, effective strategies that can be used both at home and at school.

In sessions with children, Jessica incorporates play therapy techniques to create a space where kids can safely express thoughts and emotions they may not yet have the words for. She is especially attuned to children who have experienced trauma, grief, or major life transitions, and she works at a pace that helps them feel secure, respected, and understood.

For adolescents and adults, Jessica provides a supportive, nonjudgmental environment to process anxiety, life stressors, and relationship challenges. She values authenticity and connection in the therapeutic relationship and believes that feeling truly heard is a powerful part of the healing process.

Jessica’s approach is collaborative and tailored to each client. She integrates trauma-informed care with practical skill-building, helping clients strengthen emotional awareness, improve coping, and build resilience in their daily lives.

Outside of her clinical work, Jessica values time with her family and understands firsthand the complexities of balancing life’s many roles as a single mom. This perspective allows her to connect with clients in a genuine and relatable way.
