About Danny

Danny O'Brien is a board-certified Physician Associate on the Medication Management team at Olive Tree. Originally from Philadelphia, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Kinesiology in 2020, then went on to earn his Master of Medical Science Cum Laude from the Salus University Physician Associate Studies program in 2024. He is also an author of two published medical research reviews.

His clinical background covers a wide range of settings including private practice, correctional facilities, and addiction treatment centers, along with rotations in emergency medicine, pediatrics, and family medicine. That breadth of experience gives him a grounded, realistic view of the people he serves.

His Approach

Danny takes an individualized and holistic approach to patient care, paying attention to both mental and physical wellbeing rather than treating them as separate concerns. He has experience working with patients from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, and he brings that awareness into every appointment. His clinical focus includes anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, mood and sleep disorders, and schizophrenia.
