About Sylvia

Sylvia Craig is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate at Olive Tree, working with children, teens, and adults. Her background is in school counseling, and that's where her commitment to early mental health access took root. She saw firsthand how much it matters for kids to get support before things get harder, and that conviction has shaped her practice.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Campbell University and her Master's in Counselor Education from East Carolina University.

Her Approach

Sylvia's work is client-centered, which means the pace, focus, and direction of therapy follow the client. She prioritizes creating a space where people feel genuinely heard before anything else. Outside of work, she spends time with her dog Miley, experiments in the kitchen, and stays active outdoors.
